Seemingly forever
This winter lingers still
The climate keeps on changing
While denier’s cry out, drill!
Yet hope springs eternal
And spring, well, springs forth hope
Try not to take things too personal

Should know by now
Walking a retriever in spring
Involves mud
Take golden to woods
Walk till completely covered
With mud
The ride home
Leaves car scented with
Wet dog
Bathe her quickly
Trying to get it all then
Listen carefully
Since the most
Interesting thoughts seem
To visit
During golden moments
Waiting around for the dog
To dry
