Funny how we assume the best of attractive people. Like when we think Ivanka Trump is the good one – it just feels right. How could anyone who looks like that harbor darkness as ugly as the Donald’s? The sons, sure – they look like they’d kill endangered animals for fun, makes them easy to identify as risky. But not number one daughter, which makes her all the more dangerous.

She’s a Trump and conducts herself as such. This week her company won approval for three trademarks from the Chinese government. Trademarks grant monopoly rights in China and, understandably, competition for Trademark designation is really keen.

And, Ivanka got three, all on the same day, the day she dined with the Chinese president. The Trump administration is riddled with these little coincidences – go figure.

And while figuring remember, appearing less dangerous than the Donald is not difficult – every American citizen, sans the Donald, qualifies. And while Ivanka doesn’t come right out and spout racist rhetoric or speak with clueless privilege, she challenges such speech around her with silence. And she speaks out in defense of that silence. Definitely a Trump.

Of course, offering critique of a woman who holds a senior adviser to the president position by virtue of nepotism and conducts private business while executing the duties of that job is no longer remarkable. What’s remarkable is that this particular ethics fuckup is acceptable behavior – from the good one.

Well, at least she doesn’t complain about mean tweets like brother Eric.

And doesn’t hunt elephant, like piece of shit, Donald Jr.

And she’s certainly not about to about to plunge us into another Asian war, like Daddy.

No, she’s just gonna stand aside and watch, ever the opportunist.

Who would have guessed that it would take one-hundred-sixty-one days, from election, for scandal to reach Ivanka? The republic suspects significant on-the-job sexism in the Trump camp. Had there been equal opportunity, Ivanka would have had a scandal of her very own way before her Russian greeting husband. Just sayin’.
