Anger Mismanagement

Today, the second day of the Trump Administration, the Donald rests. After a long inaugural day filed with swearing on two bibles, signing anti-environmental executive orders and parading booty both in the street and on the dance floor he is plumb tuckered out.
So, a vacation weekend is next on the presidential agenda. While it’s unclear where Trump will be vacationing, it is clear he will not be anywhere near the Women’s March in DC. Though, I’m pretty sure he’ll take the time to tweet his executive opinion – probably something like, “Watched video of Lady’s March – mostly fours and fives, not a single 9 or 10. Sad.” Yeah, we can always count on the Donald to be a classy guy.
And while on classy guys, how about the mob that went all Rabid Soccer Fan and tried to riot at the inaugural protests? This bunch of geniuses, using only bats and crowbars managed to slay a parked car and a few dumpsters. But, when they started throwing dumpster stuff, the DC police responded by throwing stuff back at them. The police had much better stuff so the uprising was short-lived.
I don’t understand these tactics. Bats and clubs against guns, teargas and grenades? Throwing garbage at the people who have the guns, teargas and grenades? Sounds really dumb, like something your low IQ Trump operative would do. Oddly, in news photos, these “anarchists” kind of looked like those guys who mill around the edges at Trump rallies. Not implying anything here, just saying.
This is where you would typically find the non-violence pitch. But, I won’t be giving that sermon. My military and life history deny me that high-ground. And more importantly, I feel violence does have a place – rarely, but a place. Stupidity does not.
And trying to incite a peaceful crowd by burning cars and throwing garbage at cops are a stupid tactics. People who use such tactics are with the Donald, whether they know it or not.
But anyway, let’s look forward to a peaceful Women’s March today, but realize, the National Mall flooded with pink may violently anger the Donald. I think, women make him nervous.
The republic seeks a way to manage the Donald’s anger non-violently, if possible.
